This is all just for spits, giggles, and entertainment purposes only. However, just in case you dabble …

Are we done yet thinking UCLA is going to be good this year? It’ll be great down the road under Chip Kelly, and it’s certainly more competitive now, but Arizona State really is solid, and it’s got a whole lot to play for. The 13.5 is a bit big, but the Bruins might melt down in the afternoon game in Tempe.

The Sun Devil defensive line is going fall for the sales pitch, discover it can’t get away enough, and then find a way to get out of the timeshare it’s about to buy in the UCLA backfield.

On first look, that 60.5 total on Washington State-Colorado seems like it should be a breeze to blast through – and it actually might be. But the Wazzu D has been a bit stronger than it’s being given credit for.

Colorado is desperate, and it’s at home, and Mike Leach loves Ralphie – see if you can find his press conference rant on that – and his team is 19 minutes late to have the meltdown game we all know is coming, but … Wazzu -6 right now is a wee bit of an insult.

I can’t do it. Of course Oregon should be favored over Utah now that RB Zack Moss is out for the Utes along with QB Tyler Huntley. Of course the line should move from Utah -4 to around even – UTAH HAS A NEW STARTING OFFENSIVE BACKFIELD.

But like the public – at least at the moment – I just can’t change my first answer. The memory of Justin Herbert against Arizona is too fresh – this Ute D is about to turn it up a few notches, but … stay away. We just don’t know what the Utah offense is going to be.

Pick Oregon State and the points. Why? Because I’m finally believing that Stanford is going cover, and it’s going to burn me just because this program is out to make me look bad.

Star WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside is out, but the Cardinal D will be just fine at home. The -24 is the right call, but if it’s not, know that you’re dealing with a Cardinal program that’s doing this out of spite. It’s not your fault.
Oregon State vs. Stanford Game Preview & Prediction

All you’re asking is for USC to win at home by a touchdown over Cal. And you don’t even need that, with the line a more than manageable -5. The Bears are playing well defensively, and the turnovers have stopped, but USC is a better team at home – 38-35 loss to Arizona State aside. The heat is on Clay Helton, and his team is about to respond.
