4. Josh Heupel, UCF head coach
Scott Frost might have been the one to set the wheels in motion for the UCF machine, but give Heupel a whole lot of credit for keeping it going.
There were several key parts needing to be replaced on both sides of the ball, and while this isn’t the UCF team of last year, it’s ranked higher and doing all of the big things the 2017 “national champions” were able to do.
Heupel’s offenses go 1,000 miles per hour, they’re fun, they’re dangerous, and they’re exactly what’s needed to pump some life into the Buff program. You want to stay with what’s coming at UCLA an Arizona once Chip Kelly and Kevin Sumlin, respectively, start to figure it all out, here you go.
Heupel is just 40, he has proven himself as a head coach over just ten games, and it’s an easy chance to take on potential greatness.
