Liberty (4-3) vs. UMass (3-6) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
All of a sudden, UMass came up with a win to pull up out of the nosedive of three straight losses and six in seven games – but with Georgia to close out the regular season, forget about closing out with three straight wins to become bowl eligible.
The Minutemen still have turnover issues, and it’s -9 against FBS teams without winning the turnover margin once in any of those eight games.
On the other side, Liberty is having a few problems lately with giveaways – with its first multi-giveaway game of the year in the win over Idaho State – but that’s hardly a problem.
The Flames have the running game to keep the UMass offense off she field, and Stephen Calvert continues to be amazing, with three 360-yard passing games in his last four games.
On the road, the Liberty offense will work better and stronger, and it’ll win the turnover battle by at least two. Calvert will be too good.
