Georgia State (2-7) vs. Louisiana (4-5) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
While the Ragin’ Cajuns have struggled with losses in two of the last three games, they’re right in the mix for the West title thanks to a win over Arkansas State and with the rivalry game with ULM coming up in a few weeks.
The offense has been hit-or-miss, but when it works, it runs wild, the passing game is efficient, and the offense cranks up first downs in chunks. However, the defense has been non-existent for stretches, especially against the run.
The Georgia State offense is good third downs and balanced, getting better as the season has gone on.
But the defense isn’t holding up.
The secondary has bee hammered all season long, and now Andre Nunez will make up for a sluggish day against Troy with a sharp performance.
The defenses will struggle and sputter, but when needed, the Louisiana offense – after an inconsistent few weeks – will come through in the fourth quarter thanks to an O line that will keep a non-existent Panther pass rush from providing any pressure.
