LINE: Utah -4, o/u: 53.5
Shockingly, the line hasn’t budged.
The public knew that Utah QB Tyler Huntley was going to miss the game, but once star RB Zack Moss suffered a knee injury in practice, you’d think there would be a little bit of movement.
Nah … everyone is still sticking with the first thought that Utah will find a way. And that’s still probably right.
The defense is good enough to overcome the issues on offense, and the O line has the talent and punch to control the game early on.
But it’s going to be a future NFL franchise-caliber quarterback in Justin Herbert going against a freshman in Jason Shelley who stepped in against Arizona State and completed 4-of-11 passes with a pick.
And it’s not like Oregon’s defense is a soft breeze.
The Ducks aren’t Bama, but there’s enough there to keep a potentially ragged Utah O in check. As long as Herbert can get time, Oregon has the make-up, the urgency, and the talent to pull this off on the road.
