FIU (6-3) vs. UTSA (3-6) Game Preview
– Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’
What’s Going To Happen
The FIU steamroller to the Conference USA East title was stopped for a week with a blowout loss to Florida Atlantic. But everything is still there to take the division title by winning out – or winning the next two and getting a Marshall loss.
First, the Golden Panthers have to get their groove back after turning it over three times against the Owls, and they have dominate again on the offensive line.
FIU is able to dominate mediocre defensive fronts – the front five is giving the backfield hours to work. The passing game is efficient, the running attack is decent enough, and the O should be put this away fast.
UTSA still can’t score.
The Roadrunner offense – dead last in the nation in total yards – is sputtering and struggling just to move the chains, with no down field passing attack and few points. UTSA has scored a 23 points in the last three games and no more than 20 in seven of the nine games.
FIU won’t take any chances, but it’ll come up with just enough early points to get the running game moving and click in with the short-to-midrange plays to dink and dunk on a UTSA defense that doesn’t come up with enough key stops.
The Golden Panthers will bounce back with ease.
