Buffalo (9-1) vs. Ohio (6-4) Game Preview

Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

This is it.

Buffalo wins, and it plays Northern Illinois for the MAC championship. If Ohio wins, then it has to beat Akron next week and hope for UB to collapse at Bowling Green and for Miami to lose once in the final two games.

The Bulls are red hot, winning five straight including a key 51-42 shootout over Miami University a few weeks ago to take a firm grip of the East race.

Can Ohio’s secondary handle UB QB Tyree Jackson and the Bull passing game?

Not really.

The Bobcat pass defense has been better over the second half of the season, but the Bulls have the balance – tearing off 358 yards last week against Kent State – to keep things moving even if Jackson is a wee bit off.

Can the UB run defense handle the Ohio running game?

Yeah. It got hit hard by Army, but no one else has gone over the 200-yard mark. The Bobcats might be ripping everyone apart – with almost 1,300 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns over the last four games – but the No. 1 defense in the MAC has the talent to hold on as the game goes on.

Ohio comes up with wins when it owns the turnover margin, going 4-1 this season when it takes the battle. The Bulls don’t screw up enough to let that happen.

Buffalo takes the MAC East on the road in a fun fight.
