This is all just for spits, giggles, and entertainment purposes only. However, just in case you dabble …
Of course the Nebraska-Iowa line went down to eight. That’s where it should’ve been all along, but it was hovering around ten for most of the week after rocketing up from Iowa -7.5. The Huskers are playing well, but they’re going against a nasty Hawkeye run defense. The Nebraska secondary is about to get hit hard. In other words, if you have to go one way, flip the coin on the Hawkeyes.

Hate, hates, hate, HATE giving away points on the road in a rivalry game that’s do-or-due for a bowl game, but that’s the right play with Purdue and Indiana. If you think the Boilermakers are going to pull this off – and they should – then the four isn’t an issue.

That Ohio State game appears to be it. Maryland might still have the ground game that can do big-time damage, but how do you gear it back up after that painful, painful loss? The Terps need this against Penn State to go bowling, but they might just run out of gas. They’ll stay within the 13.5, and … okay. It’s not insane to think they could find that one extra gear to pull this out, even in Happy Valley. Take the points.

Northwestern just doesn’t have that blowout gene. It’ll beat Illinois, and it’s not about to look ahead to the Big Ten Championship quite yet, but the 17 is a bit high, even against a dead Illinois team walking. The Illini won’t win this, but against a team that has yet to win a game this season by 17, that’s too big a spread.

It seems like a big number. Wisconsin is sputtering and struggling, and Minnesota needs this to go bowling. 10.5? Even at home, that’s a lot for the Badgers considering how strange they’ve been without Alex Hornibrook running the show.
It’s not 1000% certain that Hornibrook is out, so if you like the Badgers and the line as is – and it’s not that bad a call against this Gopher run D – then get in now, because it’ll get up to 14 if the starting QB is back.
– Minnesota at Wisconsin Game Preview & Prediction
Rutgers isn’t going to score more than 17 points, and it’s probably going to take something amazing to get past ten. Considering Michigan State isn’t scoring a lick, it can win this without a problem and still not cover the 27.
On principle alone, you should consider going over the 36.5 point total. But the smart play is to go under.

There’s a huge part of the Michigan-Ohio State equation that just seems so simple. Michigan is playing well, and Ohio State isn’t. Go with the Wolverines -4.5, and move on.
But it’s Michigan. It’s on the road. It’s Harbaugh. It’s Urban. You’re giving away points to Ohio State … again, at home.
You’re absolutely not wrong if you’re all in on the Buckeyes doing this. They have the talent, they have the offense, and they have the disrespect in their favor. But Michigan’s defense is for real.
This might just be as cold, business-like and methodical as the Wolverines have been all year. Ohio State will score, and it’ll move the ball, but slow and steady should win the race for Big Blue.
