This is all just for spits, giggles, and entertainment purposes only. However, just in case you dabble …

The fan in me wants the Michigan-Ohio State game to be a thing. The professional – ha! – still looks at this Buckeye-Maryland game objectively, hates that the one-dimensional Terps are even more one-dimensional now than normal without QB Kasim Hill, and thinks OSU just finds a way to survive at advance – but by more than two touchdowns.

Rutgers might be awful, and it can’t score, but it’s also managing to keep games from getting too out of hand. Yeah, the Scarlet Knights got blown away by Michigan last week – and they covered. They came up with an annoying late score against Wisconsin, too. Long-winded ramble short, it might not take all that much to lose big to Penn State, and still cover the 28.

I know, I know, Northwestern is a wonderful story. But this team isn’t all that good. I was all excited to take Minnesota as a 5-to-6ish point underdog, but not only is it favored at home, the line went up a point to -2. Taking the shot that the Gophers that need this to go bowling will be the Gophers that jumped on Purdue’s head last week …

Never change your first answer. It’s taken a few strange paths to get to this point, but ever since the Scott Frost took over the Nebraska job, I thought this week at home against Michigan State would a moment. This would be that game that gave Husker fans hope that something big way around the corner. I don’t like that the line went down to MSU -1.5, but whatever. The Huskers are winning outright.

Thank you, investing public, for bailing me out on the Iowa-Illinois game. The line went up to Iowa -16.5 for a while, and on the belief that the Illini won’t be able to run a lick on the Hawkeye D, I liked the Fighting Ferentzs. Now it’s down to a more manageable -14.5.

If I’m going down, I’m going down swinging. I keep thinking very, very wrongly that at some point, Wisconsin is going to wake the (bleep) up. It’s actually not playing all that poorly in the secondary, and the running game is way, way too strong to not be about to overcome its Jack Coan quarterback issue.

I’m flat-out telling you that I’m wrong, but I’m going with the idea that this is the Enough Is Enough game for Bucky at Purdue, especially getting four points.

Michigan, really, if this isn’t going to happen, don’t let it be because you lost to Indiana for the first time since 1987. The line hasn’t done the normal Michigan late money bump – it’s staying at 28.5. Very, very, very sheepishly liking the Wolverines to come in focused and getting the job done, but – no offense, Hoosiers – that might be because I want my Michigan-Ohio State game to be massive.
