West Virginia 47, TCU 10
What Happened: TCU got up 3-0 on a 30-yard field goal for the lead going into the second quarter, and then it was all West Virginia, going on a 33-point run before the Horned Frogs finally got into the end zone on a Jalen Reagor touchdown grab.

What Mattered: The Mountaineer D lived in the backfield, with four sacks and eight tackles for loss. The Horned Frogs ended up with -7 rushing yards, but the passing game clicked a bit with 11 catches for 150 yards and a score from Jalen Reagor.
– Grier completed 25-of-39 passes for 343 yards and three scores with a pick, spreading the ball around with four different Mountaineers coming up with 58 receiving yards or more. Three different players ran for at least 40 yards.
What It All Means: The disastrous season keeps on getting worse for TCU, losing four of the last five games. And now, it has to win the final two games against Baylor and Oklahoma State to get bowl eligible. It’s not happening with an offense that can’t score enough in the high-octane Big 12.
– West Virginia stays alive in the Big 12 title and College Football Playoff chase, but now come the true firefights with Oklahoma Sate and Oklahoma up next. It’s not a lock to get into the Big 12 title game with just one more win – Iowa State holds the tie-breaker.
