2. UTEP at WKU
LINE: WKU -7, o/u: 47.5
UTEP couldn’t win a game for almost two seasons, and now it’s going to win two in three weeks?
It beat Rice on the road two weeks ago for the program’s first win since 2016. The offense had balance, and it kept things moving the week after with a decent day against Middle Tennessee in a 48-32 loss.
On the road against a WKU secondary that’s been getting torched, the passing attack will get the 200-yard mark for the sixth time in seven games. The big key, though, will be the Hilltopper offense that won’t do enough.
WKU has scored 17 points or fewer five times in the last six games. At the very least, the Miners will keep this very, very close.
