4. Yeah, Nothing Really Changed. Yay.
Yeah, the top ten didn’t change, and the rankings have been anti-climactic over the last two weeks.
Cool. That means we’re in for a whole lot of fun.
The finishing kick to this whole thing is boing to be amazing.
No. 1 Alabama has to face No. 5 Georgia in the SEC Championship.
Clemson doesn’t play anyone nasty, but No. 3 Notre Dame has to deal with No. 12 Syracuse this week.
No. 4 Michigan and No. 10 Ohio State have to play, and the winner of that – assuming the Buckeyes don’t blow it against Maryland this week – has to play No. 22 Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship.
No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 9 West Virginia play each other to end the regular season, and might have to do it again in the Big 12 Championship. And if it’s not one of those two in the title game, No. 15 Texas or No. 16 Iowa State will be in the mix – and they play each other this week.
No. 8 Washington State has to deal with No. 18 Washington, and No. 23 Utah State has to face No. 25 Boise State two weeks from now.
No. 11 UCF? It gets No. 24 Cincinnati at home this week, but …
