What’s Going To Happen
It’s a fight for survival between two massive disappointments.
Colorado State still has a shot to do something interesting with its season if it can pull this off. Win, and it needs win two of its last three games against Nevada, Utah State and Air Force to go bowling. It’s not good enough to beat all three.
Wyoming needs to figure out how to score before it has any prayer of going on a run.
The Cowboys have lost four straight and haven’t beaten an FBS team since the 29-7 opener against New Mexico State. The O is shockingly bad, scoring just 15.5 points per game and averaging a piddly 288 yards.
The ground game is lousy, the passing attack worse, and the defense that was supposed to be a killer isn’t picking up the slack.
Colorado State isn’t cranking up the offense, either, but at least it’s not miserable.
The passing game is working, and the offense is able to hang on to the ball, but that hasn’t been enough. The run defense has been better over the last few games, and it’ll be good enough to stop the Cowboys cold.
The UW passing attack isn’t going to suddenly go off, but it’ll convert off of three takeaways from the Cowboy defense. It’ll be yet another frustrating day for the Rams, and finally, the Wyoming’s hard work on one side of the ball will pay off.
