Western Michigan (4-2) vs. Bowling Green (1-5) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
Western Michigan has found its groove after a rough start, going on a nice four-game winning streak including a tough battle against Eastern Michigan last week. The Broncos might not be doing too much defensively, but it’s coming through in the clutch, and it’s doing enough so the offense can rock.
The O line has been fantastic for the MAC’s best attack, and it showed, with a good running game and a great run from QB Jon Wassink, throwing for 200 yards or more in every game but the loss to Michigan.
Bowling Green just has to try to keep up.
The Falcons have yet to win a game against an FBS team, mostly due to a defense that’s giving up close to 500 yards per game. The defense has a problem giving up big plays through the air, but it’ll be the nation’s worst run defense that will be the biggest issue.
Wassink will go off in a bit of a shootout. The Falcons will make this interesting, but they’ll turn the ball over at least twice, and WMU will end up controlling the game with close to 300 rushing yards.
