UTSA (3-4) vs. Southern Miss (2-3) Game Preview

Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

Are either of these teams any good?

Southern Miss has yet to do much of anything other than not get destroyed by Auburn.

It got rolled by North Texas, lost to ULM, and has only beaten Rice and Jackson State. The defense has been doing an okay job, but the offense simply isn’t doing anything consistently well.

There’s no ground game to get excited about, but Jack Abraham is trying to bomb the team out of issues, throwing for over 300 yards in four of the last five games. It hasn’t been enough.

Fortunately for the Golden Eagles, it’s going against a UTSA offense that’s not doing a thing.

The Roadrunners are last in the nation in total O, averaging just 256 yards per game. Even so, they’re usually able to keep games and scores from getting out of hand and stay in range. There’s one problem with that – the defense isn’t all that great against decent passing teams.

UTSA is good against the run, bad against the pass, awful at scoring no matter what. This all fits into exactly what USM needs, especially at home.

And after it’s all done, we still won’t quite know if the Golden Eagles are all that great.
