Bowling Green (1-4) vs. Toledo (2-2) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
How will the Toledo offense look and play if Mitchell Guadagni can’t go?
The star quarterback who has thrown ten touchdown passes with just one pick suffered a concussion against Fresno State, but whether it’s him, or Eli Peters, here come the big plays from the Rocket attack.
The Bowling Green pass defense hasn’t been all that bad. It has only allowed more than 160 yards once – and that was in the opener against Oregon – but there’s a reason for that.
Everyone – absolutely everyone – is cranking up big plays on the ground.
The Falcons have allowed 200 yards or more in every game, with Maryland ripping off 444 yards and Georgia Tech running for eight touchdowns and 372 yards in a 63-17 win.
But Toledo isn’t playing any defense, either, especially against teams that can throw.
Even though the Rocket offensive line hasn’t been anything special, and even with the banged up quarterback situation, the points will come in bunches in a wild and crazy shootout. Toledo will be balanced enough to get out with a big victory, but the Falcons will get its licks in, too.
