ATS PICK: Oklahoma
It’s TCU. It’s the team that got to the Big 12 Championship last year, and it’s the program that’s been so strong over the last several years under Gary Patterson.
It has the type of defense that should be able to keep an offense like Oklahoma’s in check, and it has enough offensive weapons to keep up in a shootout.
The Horned Frogs haven’t scored more than 17 points in any of their last three games, all in Big 12 play. Last week, it made the Texas Tech defense look solid, and the D had a hard time with Red Raider mobile quarterback Jett Duffey.
And now they get an angry Kyler Murray.
Oklahoma has a new defensive coordinator, it has a rested team with two weeks off to prepare, and it has a fired up group that should come out hot after the loss to Texas.
Expect a huge game from Murray, a good start, and an explosive win after TCU is unable to keep up the pace.
