San Diego State (6-1) vs. Nevada (4-4) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
There’s been nothing pretty about San Diego State.
The Aztecs can’t score, and they’re having way too many issues with mediocre-to-bad teams, but they’ve won six straight. Now they have to deal with a run of three road games in four weeks.
It starts with dealing with a Nevada passing game that’s not consistent and it’s not lighting everyone up, but has enough to get out to a lead and make the Aztecs press.
San Diego State can’t come up with third down conversions, and it’s not going to pass well or score, but the defense is dominant against the runny it’s hitting just enough key plays to survive.
But it won’t be the Wolf Pack offense that gets it done.
The defensive front is great at getting into the backfield, and the Aztec offensive line isn’t doing anything in pass protection.
The San Diego State defense is good enough to keep the score low, but at home, Nevada will do just enough to put up a few points – and that will be enough. The Aztecs won’t be able to come back after giving up a few early scoring drives.
