New Mexico (3-2) vs. Colorado State (2-4) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
The New Mexico offense might not have QB Tevaka Tuioti around anymore, but the offense still cranked up 252 rushing yards int eh 50-14 win over UNLV.
It’s the passing game that’s the difference now, with Sheriron Jones throwing four touchdown passes for the second straight week. The offense might be humming, and the defense did a great job against the Rebels, but now it has to figure out a desperate Colorado State team that got by San Jose State last week but has a trip to Boise State next week.
KJ Carta-Samuels is having a hard time getting the passing game up and rolling again like it was earlier in the year. The Rams are still averaging close to 300 yards per game through the air, and now they get a chance to rip through the porous New Mexico defense.
It’ll be a firefight with neither defense coming up with any big stops, but on the road, the New Mexico offense will keep the production going yet again.
Wisconsin is the only game the Lobos have scored fewer than 42 points. Expect that to continue.
