What’s Going To Happen
Will the real Middle Tennessee please stand up?
The win over Florida Atlantic last week changed the narrative of a team that lost to Vanderbilt and Georgia by a combined score of 84-14. And now, if the Blue Raiders can beat Marshall, they might be one win at FIU away from all but taking down the East.
Marshall sputtered to a good win at WKU, but it still has to deal with Florida Atlantic as well as FIU and Southern Miss on the road.
The Herd has an issue finding a consistent offense, and they have a bigger problem with turnover margin. They’ve given the ball away 11 times over the last three games, but the Middle Tennessee doesn’t do much to take the ball away.
Neither team runs the ball particularly well, but Marshall QB Isaiah Green throws picks – lots of them. Brent Stockstill doesn’t.
It’ll be a tight, even game with the Blue Raiders breaking a two-game losing streak in the series.
