Middle Tennessee (3-2) vs. FIU (3-2) Game Preview

Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

There’s still plenty of work to do for the winner, but it’ll be the lead dog in the pack for the Conference USA East title.

FIU has had a few weeks off after losing to Miami, getting a scrimmage against Arkansas Pine-Bluff before getting two weeks off to get ready – the team is more than rested.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee came up with massive wins over Marshall and Florida Atlantic. Win, and it’s smooth sailing with the tough part of the slate over.

The Blue Raider defense might have a whole slew of issues on third downs, and the O line isn’t generating a lick of a push for the ground game, but Brent Stockstill and the passing attack are doing just enough to carry the O.

FIU has the offensive front to pound away for the ground game, but it doesn’t have the defensive front to get behind the line. When the passing game does give it a go, it comes up with its share of big plays.

This is where the rest and fresh legs will kick in.

The Golden Panthers might not shut down Stockstill to a dead stop, but the lines will be great, and James Morgan will be just good enough to balance out a strong day from the rushing attack.
