Kent State (1-5) vs. Miami University (2-4) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
It’s been a strange year so far for Miami University, with a power outage to start the season before the explosion kicked in. Now, in MAC Play, the offense has been unstoppable.
Kent State hasn’t had so much luck.
The Golden Flash offense has been far better than in past seasons, but the defense can’t seem to come up with a meaningful stop as the team looks for its first win over an FBS team under Sean Lewis.
MU QB Gus Ragland has been terrific in conference play, throwing for six scores and improving on the midrange passing game, but it’s been the ground game that’s been the big different.
It seems to be easy so far. Run for over 200 yards, go 2-0. Run for under 100 yards, go 0-4.
Kent State has allowed 200 rushing yards or more three times this year and allowed 15 touchdown runs in the last four games.
MU will win the turnover margin and come up with a good game with a solid, balanced attack.
