Fresno State (3-1) vs. Nevada (3-2) Game Preview

Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

Fresno State has improved the offense, still has a great defense, and is a win over Nevada on the road away from likely going on a big run of wins. With Boise State and San Diego State still to deal with, there can’t be a miss here against a dangerous Nevada team.

The Wolf Pack he alternated wins and losses all season so far, and now it’s due for a win again if everything goes according to plan. Shockingly, for a team not used to showing up with any sort of a defense, Nevada is amazing on third downs, and it’s among the best in the country in tackles for loss.

The offensive line is doing its job for a passing game that’s doing what it’s been expected to with the Air Raid attack, coming up with 200 yards or more in every game.

But the Fresno State offense has kicked it into overtime.

Marcus McMaryion came up with his best game as a Bulldog, hitting Toledo for 77% of his passes for 368 yards and four scores with a pick, and he ran for a score. He ran for four touchdowns the week before in the blowout win over UCLA.

With the best defense in the Mountain West on third downs, and the best offense in the league on third downs, too, the Bulldogs are going to control the game on the road thanks to the lines.

And with McMaryion outplaying Nevada’s Ty Gangi in a fun fight – both teams are going bowling no matter what happens here.
