If there was ever a weekend to start up an upsets piece, one of the wackiest Saturdays in a long, long time was it.

Of the five picks, three won outright, Nebraska almost took down Northwestern, and there were at least ten other games that should’ve and could’ve been added to the list.

The goal here isn’t to necessarily find the ones who are going to win, but if that happens, so be it.

Results So Far
Upset Picks Won Outright: 3-2
Upset Picks Against The Spread: 4-1

Based from the smallest point spread to the biggest, these are the five most dangerous games this week for the favorites. It might not necessarily turn out to be an outright upset in each game – most of the official picks here are against the spread – but out of these five, expect a few shockers.

3 That Didn’t Make The List, But On High Alert (at least against the spread)

Arizona +10.5 vs. UCLA
Colorado +17.5 vs. Washington
Toledo +1 vs. Buffalo

5. Coastal Carolina at UMass

LINE: UMass -3, o/u: 73

The Chanticleers have lost two straight, and they don’t have QB Kilton Anderson around anymore, and it’s a road game, but UMass has no defense.

The Minutemen have allowed 58 points or more in three of the last four games, but Coastal Carolina hasn’t exactly been a rock, giving up 45 in each of its last two games.

This is a true coin-flip game that’s going to be a shootout and should have several twists and turns, but the Chanticleers are used to being on the road, they have a terrific running game led by Marcus Outlaw, and they should be able to do just enough against this miserable D to control the game – they’re fifth in the nation in time of possession – to pull off the mild upset.
