Utah State (3-1) vs. BYU (3-2) Game Preview Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

It’s a fun game between two teams that are far, far better than they were last season.

Both should end up going bowling, but a win would all but cement a bid and ease things up over the second half of the season. And bragging rights wouldn’t be a bad thing, either.

Utah State’s offense is rolling, putting up 60 points against New Mexico State and 73 on Tennessee Tech before opening up Mountain West play with a 42-32 win over Air Force. It’s a multi-faceted offense that ran well in the wipeout wins, and then turned up the passing game last week with 356 yards and two scores in the win over the Falcons.

BYU can’t get the passing game going – even though it was effective enough to get by Wisconsin – and the running game is just okay. Other than that, things are going great for the O.

But the Cougars are night-and-day better offensively than last season. Forget the stats – playing three Pac-12 teams along with the Badgers are making it a struggle.

Utah State is battle tested, too. That wasn’t a fluke against Michigan State, QB Jordan Love will get plenty of time to operate against a BYU defensive front that doesn’t get behind the line enough.

The Aggie offense will be too efficient and too effective on the money downs.

For the second year in a row, the Aggies will pull of the win in a thriller.
