Buffalo (4-1) vs. Central Michigan (1-4) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
After not being able to handle the Army running game – and not getting the offense going – in an ugly 42-13 loss, Buffalo can start marching in MAC play and get back on track against a shaky Central Michigan team that needs something to go right.
The Chippewa passing game has been a rumor for the nation’s worst offense. It was supposed to be a bit of a rebuilding year, but averaging 256 yards per game and turning the ball over 12 times – granted, six game in one game against Kansas – wasn’t part of the plan.
Buffalo doesn’t have a problem with giveaways, has enough balance to move the ball however it wants to, and has just enough of a run defense to stop the CMU attack to a dead stop.
The Bulls bounce back in a big way after the Army debacle, picking up where it left off. QB Tyree Jackson and the passing attack will put this away in the first half.
