Western Michigan (2-2) vs. Miami University (1-3) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
Can the Miami University offense keep it going in MAC play after rolling by Bowling Green last week – even if it was a weird ending in the 38-23 victory?
With an offense that sputtered and against Cincinnati and Minnesota, now it’s about to find its stride. The offensive line has done a nice job of keeping defenses out of the backfield, and the defense has been solid, especially against the pass.
Western Michigan has been all over the map in its first four games, with a rough time on third downs and an inconsistent offense, but its line is playing well, too.
These two should get into a bit of a shootout, with the MU running game taking over early like it did against Bowling Green, and the passing attack trying to keep up.
But on the road, WMU will get yet another strong game out of Jon Wassink and the passing attack. He hit Georgia State for 234 yards and there scores, doing a solid job of keeping the mistakes to a minimum.
WMU will control the clock, Miami won’t be able to keep up, and the Broncos will keep their momentum going.
