Jeremy Larkin gets the Wildcats on the board with a dazzling touchdown.
Jeremy Larkin performs his best Happy Feet impression.
EVANSTON, Ill. — Justin Jackson doesn’t discriminate. He’ll knock down opposing defenses and his own teammates.
After striking paydirt from seven yards out for his first score of the night against Akron, Justin Jackson took down Bennett Skowronek on their joint celebration. It’s just another testament of both Larkin’s incredible strength and his teammates’ adoration of him.
The touchdown in question was obviously impressive in its own right, with Larkin bouncing off a pursuing Akron defender and dashing towards the goal line, sealing the touchdown with a slick spin move to elude safety Alvin Davis.
Through the first quarter, Larkin had nine carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, with an additional nine yards on three receptions.
The sophomore tailback appears to be on pace for his third-straight 100-yard performance, following a 143-yard season-opening showcase against Purdue and a 121-yard effort last week against Duke. Larkin also upped his season touchdown total to four.
