UNLV (1-1) vs. Prairie View (1-2) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
The UNLV offense has been solid so far, with the nation’s second-best running attack averaging just 361 yards per game. The 1-2 punch of QB Armani Rogers and RB Lexington Thomas are rolling, helping the O come up with 308 yards on the ground against USC, and 414 in last week’s blowout win over UTEP.
And now it’s going to turn all over Prairie View’s front seven.
The Panthers battled hard against Rice to open things up, but the offense is scuffling, having problems coming up with third down conversions and struggling with a shaky offensive line.
The Rebels have just enough of a presence in the backfield to come up with a strong defensive performance, but it’ll be the running game that owns this. Expect a second straight 400-yard Rebel rushing performance.
