Tulane (1-1) vs. UAB (1-1) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
What was that? UAB got rocked by Coastal Carolina 47-24, and now it has to take care of two straight home games against Tulane and Charlotte to get back on track.
The Blazer offense is fine, but the defensive front is having issues, getting hit for almost 300 rushing yards and five scores against the Chanticleers. Now it has to deal with the Tulane running attack.
The Green Wave had problems against Wake Forest, but everything starting to click against Nicholls State with 268 yards and five touchdowns. But UAB’s ground game has been great, too.
Tulane is better, more complete, and stronger overall, but the Blazers will bounce back from last week’s clunker with a far, far better performance from QB AJ Erdely. He only hit 46% of his passes, but he’ll go for 300 yards to overcome a strong day from the Green Wave ground game.
