Texas State (1-2) vs. UTSA (0-3) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
It’s been a tough run for UTSA to start the season, but it also had to deal with three Power Five programs. Here’s where the run has to begin, with UTEP and Rice up next to potentially change things around.
But first, the Roadrunners have to put away a Texas State team that could use a decent win.
Beating Texas Southern was nice, but it lose to South Alabama last week and continues to struggle to get things going.
The Bobcat offensive line isn’t doing enough to keep teams out of the backfield, and the defensive front isn’t getting behind the line. After three rough weeks, the UTSA offense will finally have a little time to work.
The Roadrunners aren’t going to go off, but the offensive line that’s been under siege will be fine against someone its own size. It’ll be the D line that will take over – it’s been one of the few positives so far, owning the backfield with 22 tackles for loss.
The TXST O won’t get going.
