ATS PICK: Georgia Tech
This is way too obvious. That’s what’s frightening about it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, last week Bowling Green was a part of an all-timer of a bad beat against Miami University with a totally meaningless Hail Mary. You’ve been hurt before, I know, but this should make up for it.
Bowling Green is dead last in the nation in run defense. By a lot.
Like, but a ten-mile wide margin, allowing 333.5 yards per game on the ground, and with the second-worst run defense – UConn – allowing 309.
How bad is this? Liberty is the only other team giving up more than 300 yards per game.
And it’s not like it has played a who’s who of top-shelf running teams.
Maryland? Really? 444 yards?
Miami University doesn’t exactly have Travis Prentice toting the rock, and it was able to tear off 289 yards.
Georgia Tech is not only going to roll up well over 400 yards, but it’s desperate. At 1-3, it’s going to turn it on, and keep it all going. Considering Bowling Green lost by more than 30 to both Oregon and Maryland, getting to 28.5 is in play.
