LINE: Georgia Tech -3.5 o/u: 54.5
POINT TOTAL PICK: Over
The Georgia Tech defense couldn’t stop USF last week, and the Pitt defense was roasted by Penn State.
But can the Panther offense bounce back from a miserable performance against the Nittany Lions?
The 54.5 is way low, considering the Georgia Tech-USF game hit 87 and in a skewed way, Penn State-Pitt totaled 57.
The Pitt defensive front is good, but not amazing. QB TaQuon Marshall is playing for Georgia Tech – his banged up toe appears to be fine.
The Yellow Jacket defense is fine, but it’s not asking a lot for the Panthers to come up with 27 points or so.
Last year’s 35-17 Georgia Tech win was sluggish, and it still got to 52 points. Expect these two to combine for close 60 points, if not a whole lot more.
