LINE: Auburn -10.5, o/u: 44.5
ATS PICK: LSU
When you have lines as good as LSU’s, and you have a team with as much defensive talent as this one has, the 10.5 points are way too many to give away.
Joe Burrow hasn’t been amazing so far. The Ohio State transfer has been decent enough to get by as the LSU quarterback, but he’s been able to get the ball down the field, the offense is taking advantage of every opportunity, and the D is going to be good enough to keep the score low.
The LSU pass rush is going to continue to be dominant.
Can LSU force a few turnovers? Auburn has lost four fumbles so far.
Can Burrow keep the chains moving to control the clock and the time of possession? Third down conversions have been a problem, but this should be a slow game.
This matchup was a blowout one way or another over several years, but it’s been a fight over the last two seasons. Auburn should win; LSU should make it close.
