Ohio (1-1) vs. Cincinnati (3-0) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
Ohio hasn’t been great so far, but the offense got QB Nathan Rourke going last week in the loss to Virginia. The problem has been a defense that’s been struggling to come up with a third down stop and is getting destroyed through the air.
Very, very quietly – even with the win over UCLA – Cincinnati has been terrific, getting out to a 3-0 start allowing a mere 24 points.
The passing game isn’t there to take advantage of the Bobcat secondary, but but the defense has been incredible against the run, the pass rush has been outstanding, and overall, the D is third in the country.
The Bearcats will control the clock, the defense won’t let Rourke get going, and they’ll come up with a solid performance before diving into an easy run of American Athletic games.
