Nevada (2-2) vs. Air Force (1-2) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
Can Air Force stop the Nevada attack? The Wolf Pack offense isn’t hitting on third down tries, but the passing game is cranking up close to 300 yards per game and has been able to keep up the pace – for the most part – with some of the great offenses on the slate so far.
But the Falcons are giving up 291 yards per game through the air. With no pass rush, they’re not going to bother Pack QB Ty Gangi.
Can Nevada stop the Air Force attack? As always, the Falcons are great at running the ball, rolling for 288 yards per game and dominating the time of possession. The short answer for the Nevada D is sort of. It hasn’t been bad so far, but mostly, it’s because teams are throwing the ball, and Air Force can’t/doesn’t do that.
Air Force is overdue for a good win, especially at home. It’s going to control the clock for almost 40 minutes and keep things moving, and Nevada just won’t have the ball enough.
