So who’s really in the lead? How would the race go if the season ended right now? It’s only Week 4, but combining big stats and big performances on the big stage, here we go …

5 Players On The Radar After Two Weeks …

In alphabetical order …

QB Jake Fromm, Georgia
QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
QB McKenzie Milton, UCF
QB Trace McSorley, Penn State
RB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin

5. RB Benny Snell, Kentucky

The numbers might not quite crush the top guys on the charts, but they’re not far off.

The 5-11, 223-pounder has been the big man in big SEC moments, setting the tone for the non-Georgia East teams on the way to a 4-0 start. Against Florida, he ran for 175 yards to break the decades-long losing streak, and then he took over against Mississippi State.

With 165 yards against the Bulldogs, he’s averaging over 6.2 yards per cary. With four touchdowns against MSU, he’s up to seven on the year for the unbeaten team that’s about to receive a whole lot of deserved national attention.

But his most important asset? His Twitter bio name – Mr SNELL YA LATER

With South Carolina and Texas A&M up next, the spotlight will be on. If he can somehow help keep this run rolling, and it he can have a nasty October, there might be a trip to New York on the line when he gets Georgia in his house on November 3rd.
