5 Players On The Radar After Two Weeks …
In alphabetical order …
QB Nick Fitzgerald, Mississippi State
QB Will Grier, West Virginia
QB Cole McDonald, Hawaii
QB McKenzie Milton, UCF
DT Ed Oliver, Houston
5. QB Trace McSorley, Penn State
The numbers are mediocre compared to the rest of the top passers in college football, but he’s leading the way to points … and wins.
This was a miserable weekend for the Big Ten, but McSorley prevented it from being a horrible start, thanks to his late drive to save the day against Appalachian State. Since then, he and Penn State has been unstoppable.

The Heisman types aren’t going to care too much that he’s connected on just 52% of his throws, and again, the 603 yards aren’t that big a deal. But the five touchdown throws, one interception, and 159 points in three games are good enough to get him in the mix.
