Boise State (2-1) vs. Wyoming (2-2) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
It’s not going to be the Mountain Division championship – Utah State will have its say – but it’ll play a big role in the race.
Boise State has had two weeks to sit and stew on the 44-21 loss to Oklahoma State, but it still has the defense and the offensive pop to come up with something big. Just come up with a few early scores and then rely on the D to take care of the rest.
Wyoming’s offense still can’t find a passing attack. It didn’t have one last year with Josh Allen, and it’s struggling to get anything going through the air to start out this year, too.
The Cowboys might have a whole lot of talent and experience on the defensive side, but the O hasn’t scored 20 points in any of the last three games.
The Boise State defense might have had problems against Oklahoma State, and it hasn’t been a rock, but it’ll get the Cowboy O off the field, and Brett Rypien – who has yet to throw a pick – and the Bronco attack will be efficient. He won’t have his fourth 300-yard game in four, but he’ll make the plays the Cowboy offense won’t.
