One Reason Why Louisiana Will Win
The Louisiana offense is moving the ball, and if Alabama isn’t totally sharp as it sees this as a scrimmage in the midst of the SEC season, there could be a few Ragin’ Cajun points.
The ground game hasn’t dealt with Alabama yet, but it’s averaging over six yards per carry with three scores against both Grambling and Coastal Carolina. It’s not going to power away on the Tide, but it’s a quick bunch that’s decent when it gets the backs on the outside, led by Trey Ragas and his 8.4 yard average.

One Reason Why Alabama Will Win
Get ready for the Alabama running game to get it going.
To nitpick from the 45-23 win over Texas A&M, the Crimson Tide averaged under four yards per carry, finishing with just 109 yards and two scores. When there’s a slight problem the week before, Bama tends to correct it.
Fast.
The Ragin’ Cajun defensive line hasn’t been anything great, allowing 331 rushing yards and six scores to Mississippi State, and was hammered for 311 yards last week against Coastal Carolina. Bama is about to ground and pound its way over 300 yards.
The Alabama run D hasn’t been the otherworldly killer of the last several seasons, but it’s still only allowing 108 yards per game. ULL’s great ground game was stuffed by Mississippi State for 65 yards

What’s Going To Happen
Oh yeah, that Tua Tagovailoa guy is pretty good, too.
The Louisiana secondary gives up way too many big plays, and it’ll get hit hard for a few home runs early. The Bama ground game will take over from there, cranking out long scoring drives to make this an ugly blowout by halftime.
And then the running attack will keep on working. Bama will call off the dogs in the fourth quarter.
