The season is starting to get off the ground.

The Week 0 games were an appetizer, the Thursday games featured a few okay matchups, and now it really starts to get going.

There are just six FBS vs. FBS matchups, but they all feature Power Five programs. Where’s the value?

Starting with two that didn’t quite make the cut, but are still spicy …

Syracuse -5.5 over Western Michigan
San Diego State at Stanford o/u: 43 UNDER

5. WKU at Wisconsin

LINE: Wisconsin -35.5, o/u: 52.5

If you can get a line on the WKU rushing yards, go under. Big.

The Hilltoppers aren’t going to be able to run at all on the Badger D, but they will bomb away on a revamped secondary with three new starters. That doesn’t mean they’ll make this much of a game, but getting within 35 points might not be asking for the world.

The Badger offense should be even better this season, but outside of the 59-10 win over Utah State to start 2017 – it was close early and got away late – it only put up more than 40 points once. Even then, Bucky beat Indiana by 28 in a 45-17 victory.

WKU didn’t play anyone of 2018’s caliber last season, but it it only allowed more than 38 points twice, and never game up more than 42. It’s not a given against this Badger D, but if the Hilltoppers can get to 14 points, they should cover.
