Washington Prediction: What’s Going To Happen

This is the best and most complete in the Pac-12.

It’s going to get another amazing year from the defense, it’s going to get another big season from Jake Browning, and it’s going to have a big performance from the offensive line.

It’s all there.

The Huskies will get by Auburn to kick things off and set the tone for the rest of the season, but they’ll have to sidestep a few dangerous landmines to get to 11 wins to be in the hunt for the College Football Playoff.

There’s no USC to deal with from the South, but having to face Utah in Salt Lake City is going to be a problem. They’ll lose one of the three road games against the Utes, UCLA and Cal, but they’ll get by the big date at Oregon, and they’ll survive Stanford in Seattle.

There will be a few close calls, but the Pac-12 is just down enough, and the schedule is just easy enough, to get to a second conference championship in three years.

Guessing The Preseason Regular Season Win Total Will Be Set At … 10.5

It all comes down to the opener against Auburn. If the Huskies win in Atlanta, they’ll finish the regular season with 11 wins. Lose, and they’ll finish with ten, possibly nine if there’s a massive upset along the way.

This is a good enough team to show up and dominate in at least eight games, struggle in three, and lose one. It’s those middle three that will be the difference, but as long as Browning stays healthy, expect 11-1.
