Fresno State Prediction: What’s Going To Happen
The bar is going to be set through the roof with so many key players back and so many returning starters, but repeating what happened last season wouldn’t be a bad way to go.
The defense will find the replacements needed on the line to keep up the production from all of last year’s success, but the difference this season will be a bit more explosion on the offensive side.
It’ll all be part of the puzzle – there’s no need to take too many chances with all the production and talent on the defensive size – but the O will get more big plays out of the ground game, and QB Marcus McMaryion and the passing attack will stretch the field.
Expect more offensive consistency, too. Hitting at least 24 points a game, every game won’t be a problem.
Guessing The Preseason Regular Season Win Total Will Be Set At … 8
There’s a big plus stepping down from playing Washington and Alabama to dealing with Minnesota and UCLA – the Bulldogs will win one of those two non-conference road games.
As long as there isn’t a brain cramp like last season’s loss to UNLV, there shouldn’t be a problem rolling through the main bulk of the season – but assume there will be one loss along the way against someone like Wyoming, or even UNLV on the road.
They’ll drop the game at Boise State, win against San Diego State, and get back to the Mountain West Championship game for a rematch against the Broncos.
Just like last year.
