Nevada Prediction: What’s Going To Happen

The Wolf Pack should be stronger offensively with everyone getting a year in the system and now knowing what to do.

There might be concerns with the line, but the high-powered passing game will click just a bit better in shootout after shootout.

It’s Nevada, so the defense will once again be optional, but this year’s team will be better in close, tight situations and should be able to build on the solid end of the season. But it’s still not going to be enough to get to a bowl game.

Guessing The Preseason Regular Season Win Total Will Be Set At … 4.5

The Wolf Pack will beat Portland State to start the season. After that, where’s the sure-thing win?

For anyone else, at Vanderbilt, Oregon State and at Toledo wouldn’t be all that hard, but it’ll be a major fight to get a win out of those three.

Fresno State, Boise State and San Diego State are home games, but that’s Fresno State, Boise State and San Diego State. The easy conference battles – Hawaii, San Jose State and UNLV – are on the road.

Even so, assume the Wolf Pack will get to at least three wins like last year, and will pull off two stunners just because the offense works. However, the defense will be too rocky to get to six wins and bowl eligibility.
