Georgia State Prediction: What’s Going To Happen

The Panthers aren’t going to fall back into the problems of 2016, but the offense has to be stronger and more consistent to get back to a bowl game.

The quarterback situation will be okay, but it’ll be under the microscope all season long with so many options available – there could be a quick hook if the production isn’t there right away.

The receiving corps will be among the best in the Sun Belt, but the running game still won’t be enough to grind out drives – the passing attack will need to work.

The defense will be good enough to get by, but will it be good enough to overcome an offense that will stall too often? Not in the Sun Belt East title chase.

Guessing The Preseason Regular Season Win Total Will Be Set At … 5.5

The Panthers will hang around in just about every game, but assume they’ll have problems keeping up with NC State and Memphis on the road. They’ll be happy to get a win out of road games at Troy, Arkansas State and Appalachian State, and there can’t be any slip-ups.

Western Michigan and Georgia Southern won’t be easy at home, and going to Louisiana won’t be a breeze. Even so, the team is just good enough to push for a bowl again – but come up just short.
