2018 UTSA Roadrunners Football Schedule Analysis

– The Roadrunners gave Arizona State a hard time, and now they have to go on the road to deal with Herm Edwards in his home opener. The Power Five games keep on coming, facing Baylor and then going to Kansas State, before closing out the non-conference schedule against Texas State.

– They only leave the state of Texas once from September 1st through October 20th, starting out the Conference USA season with UTEP and then going to Rice. The Louisiana Tech game is at home,  but having to go to Southern Miss is a problem. Fortunately, there’s a nice week off in late October to get ready for the finishing kick, closing out the regular season at home against North Texas.

– There’s no Florida Atlantic to deal with from the East, but UTSA has to go to Marshall – that’s an awful break. The other interdivisional game is against FIU, missing Middle Tennessee and WKU, but not getting the relatively lighter teams, Charlotte or Old Dominion.
