All You Really Need To Know About Tennessee

There weren’t any problems with Wright State, rolling to a 73-47 win. The defense clamped down from three – Wright State hit just 4-of-21 from outside – and forced 17 turnovers.

The Vols are a strong, smart team that doesn’t make a whole slew of mistakes and does just about everything right. However, they’re just okay from the field and they don’t do a whole lot on the defensive boards.

All You Really Need To Know About Loyola

Loyola came up with the moment of the tournament so far with a last-second three to put away Miami 64-62. It’s been a magical season for the Ramblers, making it continue by controlling the pace against the Canes and forcing 16 turnovers in the tight battle.

They aren’t all that great on the inside, but they don’t commit fouls and they play a suffocating brand of defense. Can they crank up the firepower when needed? It’s about pace with this bunch.

What’s Going To Happen

The Ramblers might have a veteran team that finds ways to win, but they’re not going to have problems on the boards and won’t do enough overall on the inside to stop what the Vols do.

It’ll be an ugly game that bogs down at times, but both teams will hit timely threes to keep this close late. The Loyola D will do its job to keep it close, but the Vols will survive in the final moments.
