2018 Northern Illinois Huskies Football Schedule Analysis
– Getting everything started with a trip to Iowa will set the tone for the non-conference slate. That’s hard, dealing with Utah in DeKalb won’t be easy, and going to Florida State is a nightmare. Other than that, everything is fine – except for the trip to BYU in late October.
– Starting out the MAC season with Central Michigan at home helps. However, after that come five road games in six dates – the Huskies only get one home game from September 15th to November 7th. However, they get Toledo at home, and then close out the regular season at Western Michigan.
– The Huskies Miami University from the East, and they have to go to Akron. Worst of all, they deal with Ohio – possibly the MAC’s best team. They miss Bowling Green, Buffalo and Kent State from the other division.
