2018 New Mexico State Aggies Football Schedule Analysis
– Life as an independent isn’t all that bad. While the Aggies are out of the Sun Belt, they still keep three games against their former brothers, dealing with at Louisiana, Georgia Southern, and at Texas State, all in a row in October. If NMSU is okay, these games might be a bit of a national storyline of revenge.
– In a do-what-you-have-to-as-an-Indy quirk, the Aggies have to play Liberty twice. First, it’s a home game for the Aggies in early October, and it finishes up with a date on the road to close out the regular season. With that coming after a trip to BYU, New Mexico State’s home season ends on November 3rd.
– There’s only one game against a Power Fiver on the slate, going to Minnesota early on. That means the Aggies will have two games under their belt before September starts, playing the Gophers on the 30th, five days after hosting Wyoming in Week Zero.
