Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 New Mexico Lobos football schedule.
2018 New Mexico Lobos Football Schedule Analysis
– The Lobos kick off the season with Incarnate Word, and they need it with a trip to Wisconsin to follow and then the always tough and always emotional rivalry date with New Mexico State – it’s on the road. Throw in the game against Liberty coming off a week off, and it’s not that bad a pre-Mountain West slate. If they’re good, they need to be 3-1.
– The Mountain West season starts out against the other division, going to UNLV to kickoff a run of three road games in four weeks. Unfortunately, they have to play both Fresno State and San Diego State from the West, but at least both games are at home. They miss Hawaii, Nevada and San Jose State.
– The Boise State game is at home and so is the regular-season ender against Wyoming. Three of the four November games are at home, dealing with a road game against Air Force from the Mountain, but having to go to Colorado State in mid-October.
